I love this quote and it is so true. This week I had one of my friends lose her dad and it has brought back a lot of the feelings I had when my dad died. Going through something like that has strengthened my testimony more than I could ever put into words. I have learned more from that trial then I think I could ever learn in anything else. I just feel so incredibly grateful for the atonement and for the plan of salvation. The only thing that brings me comfort is knowing that we will all be with our families forever in the next life. Knowing that Christ suffered for every one of us and bled from every pore makes me want to do what is right. Every time I hear a lesson on the atonement I can't help but feel overwhelmed with not only the love Christ has for me but the love I have for him also. He suffered through every thing anyone could ever have to go through so that we can repent and live with him forever. If everyone were to keep that in their mind I know we would all be much better people. All of this relates to everything in life not just losing someone. Everyone has trials some are small some are big but I know that if we go to the Lord that he will help us through them. There was a song that I really liked that was sung at the funeral called He will carry you so I will just end this post with the lyrics from a part of that song:can take away your sorrow
And no human eyes could see what you’re going through
When you’ve taken your last step and done all that you can do
He will lift your heavy load and carry you
